Mission Statement

 

Our mission statement, here at Fidgets and Widgets, is to:

• Design and produce sustainable Cognitive Focus Devices (CFDs) that support focus, emotional regulation and sensory needs.

• Champion the inclusion of fidget tools in schools, exams and therapeutic settings to improve access and outcomes for neurodivergent individuals, based on Universal Design Learning (UDL) and Differential Instruction (DI).

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators and researchers to promote evidence-based use of sensory tools in mental health and rehabilitation.

• Provide handcrafted, 3d-printed tools using eco-conscious materials like plant-based PLA.

• Empower children and adults alike through tactile, calming devices that encourage autonomy and self-regulation.

• Advocate for policy change around fidget use in formal education and clinical environments.

• Support families, schools and communities by offering custom tools, honest guidance and inclusive design thinking.
